CQmaps – Professional Maps for Amateur Radio, is extremely happy to offer the Amateur Radio community a truly helpful station aid for your Yaesu line of Rotor Controllers. Many of CQmaps’ customers had been asking for an Azimuthal Projection Insert Map for their controllers and we answered! Your Great Circle map will feature the same 4 inch diameter world view as the dial of the controller. Since the map is centered on your qth, dialing in your DX just became much easier.
CQmaps designed the map to not just simply lay across the dial, but to be held in place by the the actual hardware. In doing this, you are left with a map that is virtually impossible to improperly install. Your map will have all holes punched and the overlay cutout. The map is printed on quality photo matte finish paper to reduce glare and ensure brightness of colors.
As with all ham radio Azimuthal Projection maps, the map you order is centered on your QTH, no matter where you operate in the world!
At this time, the Azimuthal Projection Insert Map will fit the G-1000DXA and G-800 Series of controllers. Updates will be added when other controllers are verified to fit.
