DMR Mobile Radio
1.8” Graphic Dot-matrix True Color Display
The large-sized, full color display enables the access to desired information easily even under bright sunlight.
Date & clock is appearing on screen for daily use.
Multiple Languages
TM840 supports multiple languages like English, simplified Chinese, German and French.
One Touch Operation in Usage
TM840 provides four programming keys and two keys programming in keypad, that provides the one touch operation like Text Message, Voice Calls.
Versatile Voice and Data Service
Intelligent TM840 supports various voice call types, including Private Call, Group Call, All Call and Emergency Call, as well as the rich data services, e.g. GPS, Text Message, IP connect and Data Transfer.
Privacy of Voice and Data
TM840 supports analog scrambling, and digital encryption using Advanced Encryption Standard (AES)*1 , DES and ARCFOUR (ARC4) encryption methodology to both voice and data.
GPS
Integrated GPS enables the real time tracking of the mobile working team.
LIP Location Information Protocol
TM840 allows the master user to send GPS message to slave users in case of need.
Various Analog Signaling Types
TM840 supports various analog signaling types (KDC1200, DTMF, 2-Tone and 5-Tone), various squelch control types (CTCSS/CDCSS), thus providing higher function expansion capacity to the analog mode.
Supplementary Services
TM840 supports supplementary services of Radio Check, Remote Monitor, Call Alert, Radio Enable and Radio Disable.
Accessory Expansion Including Analog/Digital
Telephone Interconnect (via DTMF signaling)
TM840 is designed with the second develop accessories ports via rear port of the mobile, e.g. emergency footswitch.
Besides it is possible to support simplex voice communications between radio and telephone users. It allows a radio user to make a telephone call; or a telephone user to make either a Group or Private Call to radio users through Private Automated Branch Exchange (PABX) or Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN).
Dual Modes (Analog+Digital)
TM840 operates in either analog or digital mode in each channel. It is compatible with the prevalent analog system, ensuring a smooth analog to digital transition.
Scan
TM840 supports scanning of pure analog voice and signaling, pure digital voice and data, and also mixed mode scan that comprises analog and digital activities.
