After over a week of being hit by fast solar wind, conditions are finally beginning to calm down. We have had gorgeous aurora shows all over the world this week and thanks goes out to the tireless aurora photographers and field reporters, who captured it all. I’ll feature some of your stunning pictures in my next forecast. Amateur radio should improve now across all bands, GPS/GNSS
should be more stable, especially at high latitudes, and satellite radio and TV
should also give less problems. Learn more about the recent solar storm and how long this quiet space weather is expected to last.
