ICOM Inc. (Headquarters: Hirano-ku, Osaka, President: Hiroshi Nakaoka) has released a new 144 / 430MHz dual-band FM transceiver IC-S10 (simple model) / IC-T10 (numeric keypad model) for amateur radio. increase.
The IC-S10 / IC-T10 is a high cost performance model that is great for beginners, with simple operations that anyone can easily use, full specifications, and excellent basic performance. The transmission output is 5W, which is a margin for both 144 / 430MHz bands. The speaker output is a loud volume of 1500 mW, dustproof / waterproof IP67 * 1 that can be operated safely outdoors, and a robust body that complies with the US Department of Defense procurement standard MIL-STD-810G.
In addition, the included large-capacity lithium-ion battery <BP-280> can be operated for a long time of about 11 hours (144MHz band) and about 10 hours (430MHz band). In addition, it has a full range of specifications such as 200 channels of normal memory (+ call channel 2, program scan edge 6), various scan functions, FM radio reception function (compatible with FM complementary broadcasting), and antibacterial and antiviral processing using SELPHY® . increase.
IC-S10 / IC-T10 is a product that can be used not only for those who want to enjoy communication outdoors, but also for volunteer activities.
<Main features>
- Achieves a high output of 5W for both 144MHz and 430MHz.
- A loud speaker output of 1500mW that is easy to hear even in noisy conditions.
- Dustproof / waterproof performance IP67 * 1 that can be operated safely outdoors .
- Robust body that complies with the US Department of Defense procurement standard MIL-STD-810G.
- Approximately 11 hours (144MHz band) * 2 long-term operation is realized with the attached battery <BP-280> .
- Supports FM radio (76-108MHz) reception.
- Antibacterial and antiviral processing with SELFIL® .
Achieves high output of 5W for both 144MHz and 430MHz
By adopting a wideband power amplifier, the included lithium-ion battery pack (BP-280) achieves a high output of 5W for both VHF / UHF. The transmission output can be switched in 3 steps (0.5 / 2.5 / 5W). By switching the output according to the situation, it is possible to operate for a longer time.
Loud volume with speaker output of 1500mW, easy to hear even in noisy conditions
By installing a BTL amplifier and a large speaker of 36φ in the low frequency output circuit, the sound that is easy to hear even outdoors and the loudspeaker output of 1500mW or more (at DC7.2V) are realized.
Dustproof / waterproof performance IP67 * 1 that can be operated safely outdoors
IP67 dustproof / waterproof performance * 1 that can be operated safely even in the rain or dust, and a robust body that complies with the US Department of Defense procurement standard MIL-STD-810G. Achieves stable operation in all environments.
Achieves long-term operation of approximately 11 hours (144MHz band) * 2
By using the included 2280mAh large-capacity lithium-ion battery pack (BP-280), it is possible to operate for a long time of about 11 hours in the 144MHz band and about 10 hours in the 430MHz band.
■ Estimated operating hours * 2
Lithium-ion battery pack BP-280 (included) 7.2V 2280mAh | |
---|---|
144MHz band | About 11 hours |
430MHz band | About 10 hours |
Equipped with FM radio function
FM radio reception covers 76-108MHz. It also supports FM complementary broadcasting (AM radio program). It is useful not only for communication but also for collecting information at the destination.
Antibacterial and antiviral processing with “SELFIRE ®”
The product itself is sprayed with “Selfir ®”, which has excellent antibacterial and antiviral effects. “Selfir ®” is a catalyst that is effective regardless of the environment and is said to continue to operate for a long period of time, and is widely used in hospitals, public transportation, and educational institutions.
Equipped with programmable buttons
Equipped with a programmable button to which frequently used functions can be assigned. CS-T10 is required for setting.
