“Leanne Hendry, M0OCL, aged twelve, is the youngest person in the UK to have passed the Advanced Exam. A member of the Norfolk Amateur Radio Club’s training team, and a member of the Scout Association, she often helps to demonstrate amateur radio at scouting events and public displays with the club. Leanne also presented the operating practices and procedure section of the amateur radio course that trained four students as part of the ISS contact preparation at the City of Norwich Schools.
Congratulations to Leanne, and thanks to her father, club members and the Advanced Exam distance learning course run by Steve Hartley, G0FUW and his team, for helping her to prepare!’
