Version 3.0 of our popular traps are now available. Version 3.0 are supplied with 4 high quality Cornell Dubilier CDV16 RF Mica capacitors for greatly improved performance. The new capacitors improve the Q of the traps, and in doing so, improve their isolation, making antenna adjustment easier.

Amended instructions – 22 June 2015
A few people have reported getting odd results with our traps. As a result I did some SPICE modelling and found that the problem was due to the use of long test leads between the antenna analyser and the traps. This introduces capacitance across the traps giving incorrect readings. The photograph below shows a low capacitance test lead that works just fine.
