Heil PR 10 Set
From the amateur radio division of Heil Sound, Ltd., we bring you the Heil PR10 Package. This small but mighty microphone will bring your radio to life with full speech articulation and perfect balance.
This package contains Heil’s compact PR10 microphone, an LB-1 table base with an LED backlit transmit status light, and an adjustable 8” mic boom to bring the mic up to a comfortable operating position during use.
The PR10 is Heil’s newest communication microphone designed for articulate communication with most of todays transceivers. Although compact in size this microphone is built around a full 1-1/8” diameter dynamic element, just as our other PR series microphones used in commercial broadcast applications around the world.
Producing full articulate sound from 85Hz to 16kHz you will be sure to be heard with every transmission. Some Non-Pro series Icom transceivers do not have adequate mic pre ampfification to support a dynamic element and an external preamplifier may be required. Please check with your authorized Heil Dealer or visit www.heilsound.com for these applications and compatibility.
The Heil PR10 Package includes a LB-1 table base. This sleek, sturdy table base will keep your PR10 microphone at a comfortable height for hours of use. Integrated into the base we have a PTT control and an LED backlit indicator with three settings.
The LEDs that illuminate the face and ring of the LB-1 base may be set to continuously glow, illuminate only while transmitting, or turned off with the three-position switch located on the right side of the base.
Like our popular CB-1-PTT base, the LB-1 base has a 1/8” jack on the back and includes a 24” pigtail to interconnect the base to the proper CC-1 connecting cable. LB-1 requires 2-AA batteries for illumination.* A CC-1-XLR series cable is needed to interface this microphone with a transceiver.
