I’d like to share with you all my passion for working station on VHF (6m, 4m and 2m) using Meteor Scatter (MS) as the propagation mode. I do this during the peak of the Perseid meteor shower which makes the chance of decoding stations with a modest VHF station much more likely, by modest I mean an FT-817/SDR and a collinear, although a beam would be better. It’s much easier that many think and a friend 2M0ZFG IN Arrochar with his 500m hills all around him QTH using an FT-817radio + V2000 with RG-58 has been decoding MS pings on 2m……
