VHF Marine Radios
CHICAGO, IL (May 6, 2015) — Cobra Electronics Corporation, the leading designer and marketer of award-winning marine, safety, outdoor and consumer electronics, today announced the nationwide general availability of the Cobra MR F57 and MR F77 VHF Radios. Both models feature a newly designed fixed mount design in two colors with added GPS capabilities.
The radios feature GPS integration, which include either high performance, built-in GPS or Cobra Positioning System (C.P.S.) technology. The F57 is C.P.S. accessory-ready for plug and play GPS connection, while the F77 model has a built in GPS receiver which uses a simple connection and setup for immediate use. The built-in GPS includes NMEA In and out for primary or secondary GPS input and also displays other vessels and their information in your area using the built-in DSC receiver.
Additional features include:
· Rewind-Say-Again® Feature: replay missed VHF calls which automatically records the last 20 seconds with a digital voice recorder
· Extra-large and bright LCD display: easy viewing and operation and friendly channel names
· Class-D Digital Selective Calling Technology: superior safety when sending digital messages and submersible
· External alarm input: uses radio’s speaker to amplify alarms for waypoint arrival or MOB
· Automatic radio check: easy ARC channel identification and friendly VHF channel names under the channel number for effortless reference
· PA Output: public address to external speaker
· All-new, fresh design: braided microphone cord detail and easy soft key menu for driven operation
