POWERplus is a remarkably compact, high power DC power system specifically designed for radio communications. It is a highly integrated product combining the function of a 12 VDC Uninterruptible Power System (UPS), high capacity battery charger, power distribution and capable power monitoring.
Its rugged design works well in both field, mobile and base station applications providing both automatic power changeover in the event of loss of DC power as well as built in battery charging capability for batteries with capacity up to 100Ah.
Multiple overload protected outputs and built in USB charger ports make this a powerful combination of features simplifying the station, improving reliability and reducing the clutter of messy and inefficient DC wiring. The interconnections between all of these functions are handled internally within POWERplus.
