Using a “keep it simple” approach, Buckmaster Multi-Band HF Antennas offer exceptional performance and reliability. The efficient off-center fed dipole antennas are made from high-quality components, so they can provide years of trouble-free operating. Buckmaster’s antennas are so reliable and effective, they’re often the go-to choice for high-profile DXpeditions.
DX Engineering carries six of Buckmaster’s acclaimed multi-band OCF dipole antennas. There are three basic designs, a 4-band dipole, a 7-band dipole and an 8-band dipole. Coverage is as follows:
- 4-band: 40, 20, 10 and 6 meters—68′ long antenna wire
- 7-band: 75/80, 40, 20, 17, 12, 10 and 6 meters—135′ long antenna wire
- 8-band: 160, 75/80, 40, 20, 17, 12, 10 and 6 meters—270′ long antenna wire
The permanently sealed center insulator houses the potted balun, held in place by a 1/4 inch stainless steel eyebolt. Operators have their choice of a 300 watt or 3,000 watt balun. Each antenna is shipped fully-assembled, ready to install. The use of high-quality suspension rope, pulleys and line grips is recommended. Visit HamCall.net for Buckmaster’s recommended installation guides.
Buckmaster is also well known for its HamCall DVD. The disc contains over two million callsign listings of Hams all over the globe. Operators can search by callsign, location, name and more. It’s a must-have reference for contesters and DXers.
