Description:
The Baofeng BF-F9+TP is the upgraded version of BF-F9+ with the trip power 1w/4w/8W/. With its 128 channel capacity and up to 12 hours of battery life, the BF-F9+TP is a great option for ham radio operators who need mobility on a budget.
This amateur handheld radio is loaded with features, but the most unique is the display. The BF-F9+TP sports a black inverted LCD display! Sharp and distinct, the display on the BF-F9+TP sets it apart from nearly all other handheld amateur transceivers and gives it extra class.
The frequncy of the F9+TP radio has been set as 140-150/430-440MHz when it manufactured.
In order to use the 136-174/400-520MHz, customers need to do the factory reset first. Press the Menu button, type ’40’, and then the radio will be reset.
Then, please use the the Baofeng official software (Not CHIRP) for programming, which is in the video, has the page under “other” simply checking the box that says “allow more than 480mhz transmit”, and changing the frequency range from 400-520mhz, then click write to radio.
The video should have instructed clearly.
