“Using the Icom 7300 I measure the SWR across much of the phone portion of 10,15 and 20 meters. You can use the bandscope to determine if it’s safe to transmit. This is a fantastic tool for people who monitor the SWR patterns of their antennas.
Hy-Gain TH-2MK3 – One of the best small 2 element tri-banders. Small footprint, small turning radius, handles 80 mph and probably 100 mph winds. I’ve had the Hy-Gain TH-2MK3 for about 10 years and it still hangs in there. The SWR is incredible in the phone portion of the 10, 15 and 20 meter bands. This wasn’t by accident, but I did have a little luck. I tuned it while on the ground and when I placed it on the tower, I just crossed my fingers 🙂
