“SUN CITY WEST, Ariz. – Gary Obit says he and his wife came home one day to find what he calls an “eyesore.”
Across from his house in a Sun City West cul-de-sac, a new neighbor erected a 55-foot amateur radio antenna in his backyard.
“To us and the surrounding community here, it takes away from the aesthetics we had when we first moved in,” said Mr. Obit, who is worried his property value will drop. “My wife wants to move. She is embarassed to bring people over.”
